On December 5, 2020, we will affirm our support for the #GenerationRestoration campaign of our partner, Philippine Parks & Biodiversity to save our remaining open green spaces.

Through a charrette titled “Umpukan sa Nayon: Greening Our Cities” we aim to seek solutions for the NPF Property. Are parks relevant given the pandemic? How should we create an interim park and what concrete strategies can the Nayong Pilipino explore given limited resources?

NPF will consult specialists in biodiversity conservation about our planned activities for 2021. We want the Nayong Pilipino Foundation property in Parañaque to be our legacy, an urban park where people across walks of life can enjoy nature and culture. We want it to be a home for native birds, plants, and trees.

We believe that hand-in-hand, we can work together to see our vision come through. The public has been voicing out the need for more green spaces, and this is our initiative to respond to the call. We want sustainable cities. This will not only generate green jobs as we pave the way for a green economic recovery but instill a love for biodiversity and urban parks among current and future generations.
