Suwag o Suko: Saving the Tamaraw from Extinction Documentary Screening
October 24 @ 10:00 am – 12:00 pm
Join us for our National Tamaraw Month Virtual Biodiversity Camps! This first session gives you the chance to be one of the first to watch the Suwag o Suko: Saving the Tamaraw from Extinction documentary.
The feature-length documentary examines the economic, social and cultural significance of the tamaraw and how its survival is invariably tied to the management of the Mts. Iglit-Baco National Park, its indigenous Mangyan, plus the continuous conservation efforts of rangers.
Neil del Mundo, Tamaraw Conservation Program Coordinator and Assistant Protected Area Superintendent, will also open the virtual event to share about the tamaraw, its history and conservation.
REGISTRATION:
The minimum donation amount for the screening is Php100, proceeds go to the Support-a-Ranger program for the benefit of the Tamaraw Conservation Program.
